Welcome to my Resources Library!

Tools that can help your website to be more successful!

Here you can find resources which I am using for my blog and I am very happy with their performance and services, and I highly recommend to others. It took me some time to collect and test the resources in this library. I have tested every recommendation. I had to learn from my own experience and my own mistakes and waste a lot of time fixing the “side-effects” of some highly recommended resources. Therefore I want to help you save your precious time. They work perfectly for me, so they will most probably work well for you too.

Some of the links below are affiliate links, which means if you choose to make any purchase, I will earn a commission. This commission comes at no additional cost to you. I just recommend those companies which I use and I believe they are very helpful and useful, not because I will make a commission. I would never recommend anything if I don’t use it personally or if it is not helpful.

Blogging resources

Hosting company

Siteground

Web Hosting

Choosing a good hosting company is one of the most important decisions you should take if you want to start your blog or you are blogging already. This blog is currently operating with Siteground, and I recommend just those things which I actually use. Believe me, I know what I’m saying and I had some experience with another very popular hosting company, so I can compare.

Email Marketing company

My choice is MailChimp

Why do you need an email marketing company? This company will send newsletters to your subscribers when you want, how you want and as often as you want. If you want to send a newsletter for example to 100 people, you shouldn’t send it 100 times separately, you prepare just one letter and through the email marketing company, it will be automatically distributed to all of them.

The best thing about this company is that you can sign up and start totally for free. You can keep your free account for up to 2000 subscribers. It depends on how long it takes you to grow your subscribers’ list and keep your account for free. In my opinion, MailChimp is the best company to start with. Actually, if you have more than 2000 subscribers, their prices are very affordable. If you are happy with their services, then  I don’t see any reason to pay more for any other company.

Checking your website’s performance

My choice is GTmetrix.com

If you take care about your blog, you want to know what is happening “behind the scene”. In other words, you need to check its performance and IT characteristics. I use GTMetrix’s free service every time when I do some changes on my blog (upload new plugin, new theme, ads, or some other links). The best part is` that you can scan your blog for FREE as many times as you want to analyze your page’s speed performance and more.

Social Media Schedulers

I am currently using the services of two different companies.

  1. Buffer

I like Buffer because, with this tool, I can schedule my post on all Socia Media Platforms that I use: Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Google + and Instagram. I can schedule posts in my groups, pages, and profiles.  It is so easy and so comfortable. Actually, it is also very useful for me as they have analytics for your posts’ performance. You can compare the engagement of your posts with the previous week and analyze on which social media platform your posts perform better.

2. Tailwind

I use this platform to schedule my pins on Pinterest. If you purchase an annual subscription, you get the opportunity to schedule unlimited amounts of pins and take part in Tribes. Tribes help to get re-pins of your pins and to get more traffic to your blog.

Check your grammar

Grammarly

This is an amazing tool. I use it daily while writing a new post or some comments. It checks your spelling, grammar, punctuation and much more. It really helps and it is very useful. The best thing is that you can use it totally for free. They have a paid version too, which has more features, but the basic free version works very well too. I installed an extension on my browser, so I don’t need to worry about checking my text before typing it on the browser as it checks texts automatically on the browser without the need to type the text somewhere else to get it checked.

Graphic design

Canva It is a great tool to create graphic designs for all needs. You can create graphics for your post, book cover, ads and much more. You can use the free or the paid version. I am currently using it for free and it works perfectly as it includes all necessary features.

Blog Design

You don’t need to switch to a new theme every time you would like to re-design an existing page or your website style. It is enough to only use a good Page Builder plugin to do the job. It is very important to use one that will not affect the loading speed of your website. My personal recommendation is an Elementor. With this plugin, you can design each page individually and create different stunning designs without changing your WordPress theme. I personally use this plugin on a couple of my websites and every time it does an outstanding job for me. You can use its free version, or purchase its PRO version to get more features.

One more benefit, they have an amazing support group. If you have some questions, you can reach out to them, and they will help you resolve it quickly. I tested it a couple of times on my own websites, and I was delighted with their outstanding service.
